The way EXO UI physics manage multiple apps is adapted to the large size of the touch screen.
In addition to the floating apps, EXO UI supports active backgrounds acting as applications. For example, the piano in the following video is a background and all the floating apps can still run on top of it, preventing the user to be disconnected from his usual apps when playing piano.
PS: The video is from the development team and the UI demoed is in development phase, latency and freezing are ok at this stage.
